She was predeceased by: her parents, Jiulio Tortorta and Vittoria Tortorta (Cosmai); her husband George Gioia; and her siblings, Victoria Dialla, Lulu Amico, Jim and George Tortorta.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Gioia of Missouri, Stephen Gioia of Montana, Georgia Schledorn (Robin) of California, Charlene Lingle (Ron) of Florida, Karen Swarms of Missouri and Victoria Giese of Missouri; and her grandchildren, Jodi, Sheri, Keith, Michael, Michelle, Chevvon, Courtney, Justine, Alexis, Chayna and Kami. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
