He was predeceased by: his parents, Deane Sickels and Lucille Sickels (Jones); and his brother Raymond Sickels. He is survived by: his wife Jane Sickels; his children, Mark Sickels (Amy) of Indianola, Iowa, Leslie Muerner (Mark) of Norwalk and Emily Scharbrough (Fred) of Branson, Missouri; his grandchildren, Jake (Hannah), Jared, Jessica, Alex, Zach, Kyle, Kaden, Cael, Bryce, Grady, Blake and Hayley; and his sister Alice Hansen of Evanston, Illinois. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and extended family.
