Carrie Tagg Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carrie Tagg of Bowling Green, Missouri, born in Mammoth Cave, Kentucky, who passed away on October 8, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcellous Mitchell and Carrie Davis (Holton); her husband LaFrancis "Buck" Tagg; her daughter Francine Maxam; and her siblings, Noda Locke, Lucy Skaggs, Sylvia Esthers, Carl Davis, Elcie Thiering, Bill Davis, Roe Davis, Bert Davis, Lorraine Quayle, Geneva Gott, Gladys Davis, Elizabeth Riemolds and Doris "Flunky" McGuire.
She is survived by: her children, John Richard "Rick" Tagg, Sr. (Jessica) of Bowling Green, Doris Ann "Dodie" Bowers (Scott LaZear) of Shelbyville, Theresa Lynn Emmerton (David) of Little Rock and Pamela Ethel Merkling of Troy; and her grandchildren, John Richard "Ricky" Tagg, Jr. of Vandalia, Danielle Nichole Spears (Chris) of Fort Worth, Kayla Janelle Charlton (Kevin) of Laddonia, Erik Michael Bowers of Columbia, Lauren Jeanne Hawkins (Andrew) of Shelbyville, Tessa Louise Bowers of Shelbyville, Tony Maxam (Carrie) of Troy, Brian Maxam (Heather) of Troy and Corey Smith of Kansas City. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
