He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman E. and Amanda J. Wenzel (Elliston); his wife Doris A. Wenzel; and his siblings, Ernest Wenzel, Katherine Wood and Margaret White.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna (Al Summers) of Anutt, Jane Valley of Leasburg, Joyce Wenzel of Bourbon, Ruth (Royce Missey) of Leasburg, Patty and Robert Mesger of Sullivan; his grandchildren, Jamie (Debbie Elliott), Sheila (Jimmy Henson), Brett (Theresa Summers), Damon (Kelly Summers), George, Jerry Valley, Becky, Tim Missey and Amanda (Doug Counts); his sister-in-law Thelma Wenzel of Bourbon; and his friend George Valley.
