With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dixie (Adair) L. Beckett of Bourbon, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on September 30, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Adair and Dollie C. Adair (Bridgeman); her husband John J. Beckett; her daughters, Betty Carol Ziegler and Karen Paulette Beckett; her brothers, Bill, Alvin and Paul Adair; and her grandson Aliester Beckett (Lesa M. Mizell).

She is survived by: her children, Michelle Beckett (Lance Wiese) of Bourbon, Allen (Angie Beckett) of Washington and Lance (Melissa Beckett) of Middleton, Ohio; her grandchildren, Myles (Anna Beckett) of Sullivan, Devon (Tiffany Payne) of Bourbon, Bryson Jones of Washington and Eren Beckett of Middleton, Ohio; her great grandchildren, Presley, Carter Beckett, Abbi, Andi and Finn Payne; and her siblings, Norma Turnbough of Ashland, Brenda Bland of Cuba, Debra (Mike Starks) of Cuba and Gene (Shirley Adair) of Sullivan. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
