He is survived by: his wife Carolyn King of Bolivar, Missouri; his sons, Bill Tompkins (Carol) of Altoona, Jon Tompkins (Cindy) of Linn Valley and Rod Tompkins of Meadville, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Destiny Hughey (Tom) of Kearny, Chris Neer (Jamie) of Cambridge, Carmen Kinney (Tyler) of Knoxville, Kristin Hampel (Aaron) of Wellsville, Cara Jones (Jason) of Bolivar, Kasey Heideman (Monte) of Baldwin City, Amy Stovall (Kevin) of Dunnegan, Allison Isaacson (Garrett) of Liberty Center, Mackenzie Tompkins (Nate) of Glens Falls, Olivia Robicheaux (Ben) of Meadville, Matthew Tompkins of Altoona and Brock Tompkins of Altoona, Iowa. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
