He was predeceased by: his mothers, Birdie Redfearn and Verla Fowler; his wife Patricia Redfearn; and his daughters, Deborah Byrne and Cindy Coon.
He is survived by: his son David Redfearn; and his grandchildren, Renee Duncan, Kristin Byrne, Jennifer Byrne Spencer, Lindsay Coon Walsh, Whitney Coon Sarwine, Bryce Coon, Natalie Redfearn Pierson, Desirae Redfearn, Jeremiah Redfearn and Ja'Neice Redfearn Monsrud.
Memorial donations may be made to the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association.
