He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman "Dick" Leonard and Iva Pauline Coffey (Murray); his mother-in-law Ella Obert; his siblings, Jim Coffey, Herman Coffey Jr., Dan Coffey, Elizabeth Kay Coffey, Donna Ahart, Patsy Steely and Connie Brown; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Coffey, Al Sullivan, Wilburn Ball, John Brown and David Hill Sr..

He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Christy Brown (Keith) and Kelly Coffey (Britni); his grandchildren, Tyannah Brown, Keegan and Kyler Coffey; his siblings, Winnie Ball, Richard Coffey, Paul Coffey (Ruth) and Teressa Cornell (Albert); and his siblings-in-law, Lois Coffey, Beverly Coffey, Judy Carman (Dan), Shirley Hill, Deanna Matthews (Matt), Debbie Breesawitz (Steve), Judy Kirklin (Dennis), Wink Ahart and Frank Steely. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kenny's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
