He was predeceased by: his parents, Moody Lee and Gertrude Ashley; and his sisters, Lois Carolyn Fletcher and Betty Jean Hoover. He is survived by: his wife Andrea Sue Ashley (Asbury); his children, Angie Benson (Doug) and John Andrew Ashley; his siblings, Marie Dixon, Margaret Hellrung and Robert Ashley (Ann); his grandchildren, Sara Edwards (Matt), Jessica Reid (Jason), Paul Rawson, Michelle Benson, Carissa Rawson, Bryan Benson, Jillian Ashley and Jennifer Boden (Neil); and his great grandchildren, Jack Kelly, Paxton Boden, Reese Kelly, Lincoln Edwards, Bennett Boden, Henry Reid, Archer Edwards, Ezra Edwards, Charlie Anderson, Hayden Reid and Brooks Edwards. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
