She was predeceased by: her parents, G. Sheldon Barnes and Dorothy Lee Barnes; her husband Gervais; and her siblings, Carole Collins, Pete and Tom Barnes.
She is survived by: her great-aunt Viola; her uncle W. R. Rubelee; her friend Gervais Payne; her sons, Lendon Gervais (Marja-Liisa) of St. Louis and David Allen Payne (Ann) of Polk; her grandchildren, Nicols, Thomas Pettersson of Stolkholm and Regin (Jenny Payne) of Los Angeles, California; her great grandchildren, Amanda, Alexandra, Andreas Pettersson, Samuel, Elias, Julia and Emily Payne; and her sisters-in-law, Bobbie Barnes and MaryJane Elliott. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many other friends.
