He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Smith and Carl Smith; his sister Valerie Beaty; and his stepdaughter Catalina Richard. He is survived by: his wife Armetia Richard-Smith; his sister Sondra O'Neal; his children, Jody Smith (Christina) and Gina Smith; his stepdaughters, Kelly Jenkins (Flynn), Michelle Murray and Ashley Porter (Grady); his grandchildren, Kaylee Smith, Jadon Smith, Alex Murray, Mia Murray, Ophelia Porter and Freddy Porter; and his stepgrandchildren, Mady Slinkerd and Austin Conner.
