He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVerne Shanks (Schmelz) and Melvin Buchmiller; his stepfather Stanley Shanks; and his brother Mick Buchmiller. He is survived by: his daughters, Cassie Pilger (Buchmiller) and Ashley Buchmiller; his siblings, Donna Skinner, Betty Buchmiller, Mary Layton, Kathy Shanks, Cindy Smith and Stanley Buchmiller; and his grandchildren, Kaeori, Whitney, Eli, Jacklyn, Ashton and Cooper.
