He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Chaney and Edith Chaney (Garrett); his granddaughters, Auburn and Amy Chaney; and his siblings, Jim Chaney, Hazel Grandstaff, Madge Sechrest and Susie Hicks.
He is survived by: his former wife Geraldine (Sechrest); his sons, Danny (Brenda) of Birch Tree, MO and Dale Chaney of Birch Tree, MO; his wife Reva (Woodworth); his son Denny Chaney of Birch Tree, MO; his stepdaughters, Vicki Trask (Mark) of Owasso, OK, Marsha Dale of Mountain View, MO and Connie Kennedy (Jim) of Pontotoc, MS; his sister Helen Carroll of Purdy, MO; and his grandchildren, Brian Chaney, Sarah Chaney, Dane Chaney, Davy Chaney, Ray Chaney, Angel Chaney, Christina Emmons, Tiffany Emmons, Melanie Trask, Justin Dale, Ashley Kelly, Courtney Day, Nick Bradford and Brandi Hudson. He is also survived by 24 greatgrandchildren.
