He is survived by: his former wife Rose Patterson; his wife Bernice Dooley; his children, Joe Farris Jr. (Lethia), Nina Bacon (Ron) of Clinton, Dorinda Sechrest (Donny) of Birch Tree, Carmen Pierce of Birch Tree, Scotty McGee (Dei) of Udall, Stacey McGee (Candra) of Birch Tree, Missouri, Kim Brake (Jeff) of Birch Tree, Missouri and Van McGee (Shelly) of Birch Tree, Missouri; his siblings, Gary Farris (Erma) of Kimberling City, Curtis Farris of Springfield, Tommy Farris (Janet) of Winona, Missouri, Sharon Mensendick (Ervin) of Birch Tree and Mary Farris of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; and his sister-in-law Sharon Farris of Winona, Missouri. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.
