It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Glenn Akers (Birch Tree, Missouri), who passed away on December 7, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anvil Akers and Ruth Akers (Fransler); and his sister Katherine Moorhead. He is survived by: his daughter Tammy J. Akers Yarber (Kyle) of Birch Tree, Missouri; his grandsons, Dalton Yarber and Laramy Yarber (Jennifer); his great grandchildren, Keileah Yarber and Reilynn Yarber; and his siblings, Roy Akers (Margaret) of Winona, Missouri, C. L. Akers (Fran) of Winona, Missouri, Betty Wilson and Alice Brown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
