With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ivan Lynn Smotherman of Birch Tree, Missouri, born in Teresita, Missouri, who passed away on September 19, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Smotherman and Bertha Smotherman (Farrar); his son Ivan Lynn Jr.; and his siblings, Ella Mae, Wilma Lee, Mary Alice, Crawford and Slats.
He is survived by: his wife Delaine; his daughter Shannon (Steve); his grandchildren, Riley, Bryce of Kansas City, Missouri and Andrew of Kansas City, Missouri; and his brothers, Floyd, Robert, Leroy, Henry and Hutch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Agape House and left at the funeral home.
