It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fredia Pauline Gant (Birch Tree, Missouri), who passed away on October 4, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Brown and Ollie Brown (Bland); her husband Glenford Ray "Bud" Gant; her siblings, William Cecil Brown, Roy Eugene Brown, Dessie Loraine Brown, Tressie Mae Ramsey and Virginia Faye Brown; her son Rex Alan Gates; and her granddaughter Nikki Paulette Warren.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Dean Gates Sr. (Susie) of Winona and Susan Paulette Gates (Mike Hudson) of Eminence; her sister Ilene Giddens (Lloyd) of Houston; and her grandchildren, Jeri Jeanette McConnell of Poplar Bluff, Jamie Dawn Pulliam (Bill) of Eminence, Jerry Dean Gates Jr. of Winona, Carli Amber Warren of Timber and Jessy Dwain Gates of Eminence. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
