He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Jacks and Grace Jacks; and his brothers, Eldon, Ronald and Benjamin.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Jacks (Christian); his daughters, Darla Christine Trimble (Kevin) and Sheila Deann Franklin (Christopher); his sister Virginia Evon Dockwiller; his grandchildren, Nathan Trimble (Delany), Rachel Spiller (Kingsley), Nicholas Hertzfield (Amanda), Oliver Franklin (Morgan) and Geri Franklin; and his great grandchildren, Hank, Caroline, Eleanor, Amelia, Haylie, Hunter, Izabella and James.
