He was predeceased by: his pet Sissy; his parents, George Smith and Mattie Smith; his siblings, Lawrence, Hoyt, George, Danny Smith, Alma Roberts, Viola Faye Forson, Mildred and Phyllis; and his former wife Anna Bond.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Smith; his daughters, Angela Smith-Hounshell (Roscoe), Tammy Lawrence (Rodney) and Victoria Smith (John Lyons); and his siblings, Charles A. Smith, Brenda Conley and Joyce Hellstrom (W. Ray). He is also survived by his five grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
