He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur "Bud" Cook and Doris Cook (Strider); and his sister Sherry McQuitty. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Cook (Johnson); his daughter Amanda Cook (Bryan Liou) of New York, NY; and his siblings, Gary Cook (Cheryl) of Des Moines, IA and Shirley Lynn of Sedalia.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the NRA or Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
