He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Stewart and Lorene Stewart (Petterson); his wife Margaret Hedrick; and his siblings, Theodore Stewart, Cleo Stewart, Donnie Stewart, Ricky Ricketts, Pauline Howerton and Lavinia Ripka.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Chasteen (Steve) of Independence, MO and David Stewart (Kari) of Bates City, MO; his grandchildren, Andrew Chasteen of Independence, Nikole Chasteen of Independence, Amber Dawson (Andrew) of Oak Grove, MO and Emily Stewart of Oak Grove; and his great grandchild Bhren Dawson of Oak Grove.
