He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar G. Dennis and Birdie Dennis (Rudd); his wife Gail Dennis; his grandson Ryan Hicks; and his brothers, James and Donald Dennis.
He is survived by: his children, Darin Dennis of Lebanon, IL, Steven Dennis of Blue Springs, MO and Julie Hicks (Richard) of Bates City, MO; his grandchildren, Courtney Smart (Nathan) of New Baden, IL, Jacob and Katelynn Dennis of Lebanon; his great grandchild Ainsley Hicks; and his siblings, Ray Dennis of Independence, MO, Glen Dennis of Odessa, MO, Lawrence Dennis of Lee's Summit, MO and Alice Stever of Topeka, KS. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
