She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Speros and Antoinette Speros (Liolios). She is survived by: her husband Gregory A. Smith; her children, Andrew T. Smith (Ashleigh) and Taylor N. Chavez (Elvin); her grandchildren, Gabriel, Micah Smith, Athena and Ezra Chavez; her sisters, Sherry Puckett (Don) and Hope Steiner (late Jeff); her nieces, Sarah and Laura; and her nephew Nathan.
In lieu of flowers for her funeral, Elissa wished that a donation be made to an organization that benefits children with autism and their families. We have chosen to donate to the Flutie Foundation (https://secure.qgiv.com) and the Organization for Autism Research. And so her heart of compassion and generosity continues.
