He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny McGager Franklin and Nola Faye Beard (White); and his brothers, Nathaniel and Loran Beard. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his daughter Kimberly Beard; and his sister Alice Delores Hathcock. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; extended family and numerous friends.
