He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maryon "Buzz" Swartz and Allene Swartz (Cochrane); his wife Carolyn; his children, Pamela Fly (Mark) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Steven (Billie) of Ballwin and Jay (Michelle) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Katherine Fly of Broken Arrow, Keiler Swartz of St. Louis, Jeremiah Fly of Edmond, Oklahoma, Elizabeth Swartz of New York City, Tricia Swartz of Columbia and Landon Swartz of Columbia; and his siblings, Mary Lou Gray, D. Michael, Patrick Swartz and Elizabeth Sue Ball.
