He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Garoutte and Maxine Garoutte (Seitz); his sister Betty; his brother-in-law Lewis Custer; and his nephew Steve Custer.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sue Evans; his sons, Bobby Garoutte (Sheila) of Aurora and Ricky Garoutte (Michelle) of Aurora; his grandchildren, Rudy Garoutte (Jill) of Aurora, Jeremy James (Samantha) of Neosho, Kaden Garoutte (Jessica) of Aurora, Krissy Hartley (David) of Miller and Maesea Garoutte of Aurora; his great grandchildren, Addilynn Garoutte, Rylan, Rhett Garoutte, Jaycee, Christopher Hartley, Bella and Bristol James; and his siblings, Ronnie Garoutte (Beverly) of Aurora, Glenn Garoutte (Jennie) of Holden, Missouri and Darlene Custer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to Convoy of Hope or First Baptist Church of Aurora in care of the funeral home.
