He is survived by: his parents, Phillip Roy Short and Linda J. Short of Verona; his sons, Jacob W. Short, Michael A. Short, Austin L. Short and Andrew J. Short; his sister Shawndi R. Prisk; his brother-in-law Fred Prisk; his niece Kaleigh J. Simmons (TJ Simmons); his great-nephew Sterling Simmons; his stepdaughter Nichole L. Short; and also Kade L. Brown. He is also survived by friends and family.
