She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence A. Thurman and Gertrude A. Thurman (Bennett); her brother Bob Thurman; her nephew Kent Thurman; and her sister Carol Ann Pilkenton.
She is survived by: her aunt Grace; her uncle Johnny; her husband James Dale Carr (JD) of Aurora; her children, Ann Waggoner (Darren) of Aurora, Jeffrey Carr (Kelley) of Monett, Missouri and Julie Carr of Aurora; her grandchildren, Lindsey Baker (Donovan), Lakin Waggoner, Jansen Carr and Gavin Carr; her great grandchildren, Kynnadi Snider, Kyndall Snider, Kadyn Horbyk and Kash Baker; and her brother-in-law JD Pilkenton of Aurora.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Three Rivers Hospice in care of the funeral home.
