It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Naomi Chastain in Aurora, Missouri, who passed away on November 26, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hale and Ada Hale; her husband Oscar A. Long; her children, Kathy Long, Davy Long, Roy Long, Timmy Long and Kenny Long; and her siblings, Albert Hale, Truman Hale, Johnny Hale, Jack Hale and Mary Lou Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Patsy (Karl Myers), Joyce (Clifford Adams) and Bob (Paula Long); her grandchildren, Angela Jones, Tammy Rudick, Jeff Hartsell, Jason Hartsell, Jeremy Deerwester, Caleb Deerwester, Wesley Long, Kerry Long, Andy Long, Aaron Long and Mariah Long; and her great grandchildren, Mason Jones, Hayden, Anna, Ava, Elanor, Araince, Race, Riley, Gunner Kaisley, Evan, Jarrett, Logan, Ried, Gage, Rease, Emma, Everett, Hayes, Aubrey, Hailee, Autumn, Abby and Cade Hartsell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of friends.
