We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2022, at the age of 89, Dorothy Lou Weldy of Aurora, Missouri, born in Marionville, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Ted" Cross and Vesta Cross (Frazier); her husband William Jennings Weldy; her children, Paula Herndon and Harold "Weener" Herndon; her former husband Don Herndon; and her siblings, John Cross, Florence Cross and Suzanne Cavener.

She is survived by: her brother David Cross (Nina) of Aurora; her daughter-in-law Belinda Herndon of Billings, Missouri; her grandchildren, Mitzie Barnes (Shannon) of Aurora, Lacey Ross (Jason) of Springfield and Gabe Herndon (Cydney) of Nixa, Missouri; and her great grandchildren, Kallie, Kacie, Janie Barnes, Chase, Ryder and Parker Ross. She is also survived by three stepchildren and several step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the Aurora Baptist Temple Missions, in care of the funeral home.
