He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Childress and Lucille Childress; his grandparents, Bill, Mary Jane Childress, John and Alvina Conn; and his sister-in-law Maxine Childress.
He is survived by: his wife Cherry Lynn Turk; his children, Lisa King (Alan) and Raymond Childress (Renee); his grandchildren, Logan Mayfield (Keisha), Jocelyn Childress, Garrett Mayfield (Hope), Ali Newman (Richard) and Dalton Childress (Sam); his great grandchildren, Ryland, Lawson, Vivian, Carson, Braxton, Willow, Quinn, Jett, Archer, Josie and Elinor; and his siblings, Jimmy, Ronnie (Diana) and Linda Mooneyham (Randy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peterson Funeral Chapel (229 W Church St, Aurora, MO 65605).
