She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Fredrickson and Selma Fredrickson (Grothe); her former husband Hiram Thoreson; and her siblings, James Fredrickson, Barbara Davidson and Gary Fredrickson.
She is survived by: her husband Ron Banitt; her children, Kathy Alme (Neil), Shianne Bruegger, Susan Flotterud (Ron), Beth Haas and Dan Thoreson; her grandchildren, Anngel Delaney, Jennifer Achten, Carrie Alme, Nicole Flotterud, Derik Flotterud, Christina Flotterud, Aaron Haas, Brooke Peragine, Vincent Thoreson and Kari Thoreson; and her siblings, Joyce Fredrickson, Roger Fredrickson, Charlene Anfinson, Diane Braaten and Marcia Goplen. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to the Wanamingo Lutheran Church, Wanamingo Lutheran Cemetery, or the American Cancer Society.
