She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Stubstad and Ida Stubstad (Olson); her husband Earl Hinz; and her stepmother Mary Stubstad. She is survived by: her children, Pennie Christianson (Robert) of Red Wing, Donald Hinz (Vicki) of Zumbrota and Mark Hinz (Jeanie) of Prescott, AZ; her grandchildren, Kelly Estabrooks, Chad Estabrooks, Jill Diesing, Amy Frederixon, Jason Hinz and Sarah Camu; her great grandchildren, Abby, Charlie, Emily Estabrooks, Brittany Estabrooks, Alexis, Braydon, Trevor Diesing, Tucker, Sydney, Brantley Frederixon, Braylynn Hinz, Kai and Bodhi Camu; and her half-sister Eldri Paulk (Robert).
