She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Vangness; and her parents, John Giesler and Augusta Giesler. She is survived by: her daughters, Marlene Ray of Zumbrota and Karen Schultz of Mankato; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Vangness (Kerri), John Vangness (Amy), Ben Ray, Shannon Zeilsdorf (Paul), Jacob Schultz (Tashina) and Jennifer Baker. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
