He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Tronsen (Kron) and Rudolph Tronsen; and his son John. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, William C Tronsen, Teresa Fries and Christina Strub (Matthew); and his sister Joan Thorson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or St. Ambrose Catholic Community.
