He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Wegscheid and Anna Wegscheid (Vorderbruggen); his former wife Rosemary Wegscheid (Otto); his parents-in-law, Joseph, Ann Kuntz, George and Katherine Otto; his siblings, Stanley Wegscheid and Kaleene Willard; and his siblings-in-law, Ernie Lewandoski, Robert Kuntz, Lowell Klose, George LaPenotiere, Jarvey Beck, Gloria Kuntz, Mae Kuntz, Jane Kuntz and Barb Otto.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Wegscheid (Kuntz); his sons, Daniel Wegscheid (Cindy) of St. Peter and Thomas Wegscheid of Blaine; his granddaughters, Amy Gundlach (Vince) of Baxter, Rebecca Wegscheid of St. Paul and Emily Nalbach (Nick) of Charleston; his great grandchildren, Britta, Soren and Anja Gundlach; his siblings, Cordelia Lewandoski of Litchfield, Virgil Wegscheid (Virginia) of Hutchinson, Ed Wegscheid (Betty) of Coal Valley, Marcel Wegscheid (Ella) of Kress, Sharon Dominik (Dennis Williams) of Lawrence and Darril Wegscheid (Mary) of St. Paul, Minnesota; his parents-in-law, Patsy Wegscheid, Vicki Burke, Tom Willard, Don Kuntz, Marilyn Klose, Geri Peterson (John), William Otto (Joan), Marilyn Kummer (Stan), Gerald Otto (Carole), Paul Otto (Theresa) and Francis Otto; and his aunt Mae Vorderbruggen of Watertown, Minnesota. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
