She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Mertes and Della Mertes (Sikorski); her husband Titus Kupietz; her son Dean; and her grandson Aaron Bagniewski.

She is survived by: her children, Diane Bagniewski (Eugene), Duane Kupietz (Diane Semling), Debra Kamrowski (Mark Woychik), Dennis Kupietz (Sheila), Daryl Kupietz (Nancy), Doreen Kupietz and Darlene Rhude (Michael). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
