He is survived by: his wife Vanette; his children, Wendy Dimatteo (Brian) and Tim Benz (Anastasia); his grandchildren, Francesca, Gabriella Dimatteo, Nicholas (Shannon Wynne) and Zachary Benz; his sister Frances; his sisters-in-law, Mary Benz and Sharon Schween; his stepchildren, Jaci Nash (Michael), Julie Pittman and Jane Gohar (Ali); his stepgrandchildren, Nicole Williams, Jonathan Williams (Sarah), Jake Pittman (Ashley Larsen), Emily and Jack Gohar; and his great grandchildren, Max Williams, Marna, Thomas Williams and Penelope Pittman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Pius X Catholic Church or Cretin-Derham Hall.
