He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Christian and Marcella Christian; his parents-in-law, August Frodermann and Sena Frodermann; his grandson Adam Kurki; his sister Janet; and his siblings-in-law, Eldred, Melvin, Walter, Arnold, Arthur, Lawrence, Dennis, Thomas, Roger and Mary.
He is survived by: his spouse Zelda Sickler; his children, Lynn Sandstrom (Joe Rohr) of Cannon Falls, Minnesota, Jeffrey Christian (Roxanne Singh) of Sauk Centre, Minnesota, Terza Kurki of Minneapolis and Nicole Richards (Jim); and his brother Wayne Christian. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren.
