He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman Sheets and Clara Sheets (Burger); his former wife Lucille Flanders; his siblings, Merle Smith and Harold Sheets; his wife Helen Loge Sheets; and his daughter Suzanne Goodwin.
He is survived by: his children, Lynne Flanders (David Ebinger), Patricia McNea, Mark Sheets (Lynn), Lisa Sheets and Mary Sheets (Randy Pray); his son-in-law Dave Goodwin; and his sister Audrey Elliot. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
