Joseph McCarthy Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph McCarthy of Wayzata, Minnesota, who passed away on November 2, 2020 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph McCarthy to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alma Elizabeth Dempsey and Joseph Lawrence McCarthy; his children, Teresa (Steve Hanson), Brian (Jennifer) and Patrick; his grandchildren, Maura, Ronan, Luke, Ciera, Quinn, Joseph, Conor and Molly; his pets, Marci and Hercules; and his wife Phyllis Hotopp (Lynn).

Due to Covid-19, a private family Mass will be held at St. Bartholomew Church in Wayzata on Saturday, November 7 at 12:00.

He also served on the boards of Courage Center, Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners, The International Hearing Foundation and Kids at Risk Action.
