He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bonnie Friedmeyer (West); his children, John Friedmeyer IV (Julia Matthews), Anita Friedmeyer (Dan Vacek) and Wendy Friedmeyer (Mike Maybay); his grandchildren, John Friedmeyer V (Denise), Joseph Friedmeyer (Mary), Molly Aung (LaMin), Alice Friedmeyer Vacek and Matthew Friedmeyer-Rager (Alice Wienke); his great grandchild Hans Friedmeyer; his niece Michelle Pittman (Anthony Pyatt); his nephew Doug Pittman (Janice Beck); his sister Linda Johnson (Terry); his brother-in-law Phil Pittman; and his nephews, Mike, Chris, Scott and Jeff. He was also cherished by grand-nieces and nephews and many friends.
