He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hazel and Isabelle Hazel (Kerkove); his wife Mary Phyllis Bernard of Waterloo; and his brother Richard Hazel (Carol) of Raymond. He is survived by: his children, Todd of Bedford, Indiana and Sarah Doll of Plymouth, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Mary Hazel, McKenzie Staley, Justin and Ryan Doll; and his siblings, Jeanne Alexander (Frank) of Waterloo and Tim Hazel (Iris) of Fort Dodge.
Memorials may be directed to St. Edmond School Foundation or Holy Trinity Parish.
