It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Davenport (Wayzata, Minnesota), who passed away on July 26, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Davenport and Christina Davenport; and his sisters, Doris and Christina. He is survived by: his wife Belle Cadwallader Davenport; his children, Sarah Sorenson (Andy), Rebecca Anderson (Jerry), Kristina Woodburn (John), Krismar Waage (Eric), Karen Kastan (John), Dawn Rischmiller (Reid) and Eric Hansen (Karri); his grandchildren, Oliver, Cameron, Roslyn, Gabriel, Grace, Emily, Katharine, Joshua, Per, Anders, Analisa, Greg, Lisa, Richard and Matthew; his brother Harry Jr.; and also Jean. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that if you feel so moved, please donate to the cause of your choice, and most importantly, tell those in your life "I love you.".

“Dear Belle and your ever growing family, It is with great pain that I offer you my condolences. I am just now reading David's Obituary, thanks to a classmate posting it, on FB. As you may remember, David was a very dear friend of mine. all through Jr. High and High School. He was the closest thing to having a brother, and a mentor. You stood by David and took great care of him. It always amazed me that you were able to raise 7 children. Now you have many grandchildren!! My best, Phyllis Thomson”
