He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Kohler and Glenna Kohler (Emich); his wife Gail Kohler; his in-law Laura Hahn; and his sister-in-law Rebecca Hahn-Ryan.

He is survived by: his children, Brad Kohler (Sue Jerde) of Watertown, Molly Wetter (Ryan) of Delano, Kelly Kohler (Aaron Grossinger) of Delano and Abby Koller (Calin) of Delano; his grandchildren, Mitchell, McKenna Kohler, Gordon, Maya, Zoe Wetter, Kennedy Giese Kohler, Hadley and Kye Koller; his great grandchild Lyla Kohler; his sisters, Jennifer Kohler of Winsted, Debbie Kohler of Winsted, Donna Kohler (Spud) of Winsted and Lori Wroge (David) of Lester Prairie; and his siblings-in-law, Greg Hahn (Judy) of Plymouth, Pat Ryan of New Mexico, Mary Wolschlag (Mark) of North Carolina, AnnMarie Anderson, Heather Tang (Jim), Candice Anderson, Tyler, Chance, Jaden-Ridge, Ethan, Ashton, Xzavier and Audriana. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
