He is survived by: his mother Jeanette McDonald; his wife Rose McDonald; his children, Meghan (David Tervonen), Mark and Molly; his grandsons, Walker and Eli Tervonen; his sister Cathy Norberg (David); his niece Hana Barthel (Alex); and his great-niece Luxley Barthel. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
