He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert Hatcher and Viola Bertha Johnson Hatcher. He is survived by: his wife Judith M Lindgren; his parents-in-law, Adolph and Beverly Lindgren; and his sister-in-law Delsie Kaye Thiessen.
