Elmer Alvin Ortmann Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 10, 2022, at the age of 83, Elmer Alvin Ortmann of Warroad, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Tena Ortmann; his grandson Samuel Krahn; his nephew Baron Ortmann; and his niece Annette Ortmann. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Giesbrecht; his daughters, Kim Ramiller (Joe) of Williams, MN, Candace Johnson of Roseville, MN and Camille Krahn (Arthur) of Warroad; his grandchildren, Naomi, Matthew, Amos, Isaac, Natalie, Miriam, Hosanna, Connor, Silas, Priscilla and Corbin; his brothers, Melvin (Joyce) and Norman (Ruth); and his fathers-in-law, Dennis (Judy), Wesley (Val) and Jimmy (Lynn). He is also survived by 34 great-grandchildren.
During his retirement he did amazing woodworking projects, took up bale gardening, watched daily for his favorite wildlife to make their appearance in the backyard, and during Covid worked on perfecting Farmer's Sausage like he usually bought in Steinbach.
