It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Staples Sr. (Walker, Minnesota), born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on January 13, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edna Marie (Sayers) and LeRoy Staples, Sr.; his granddaughter Maliyah Rose Jackson; his sons, Ronald Staples, Jr. (Virginia) of Cass Lake, Andrew Staples of Cass Lake, Kevin Jackson (Nicole) of Inger, Shawn Staples, Sr. (Amanda) of Bemidji, Joshua LaDuke of Cass Lake and Nicholas Staples (Maiingan) of Cass Lake; his siblings, LeRoy Staples, Leon Staples, Carol Lee, Donna "Jeanie", Mona Staples and Arlene Haaland (Rick); and his grandchildren, Rylea, Raynie, Baby Ron, Kennedy, Leondre, Lenny, Kane, Davon, Shawn Jr., Everett, Ezekiel, Oliver and Caroline Hulett. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
