He is survived by: his children, Norm, Thomas Machart (Stacy), Greg Machart, Tracy Machart and Carrie Miller; his grandchildren, Kylie (Tyler), Nicholas (Kaley), Elizabeth, Boris, Tasha, Jude and Luke; his great grandchildren, Brooke, Hannah, Jamison, Colton and Avery; and his sisters, Joyce Chesley, Ethel Morrison and Beulah Borgeson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
